Phase 3: Launch in Holland
Rotterdam City, March 17th 2013
Spacemusic site has been brought up again - Joomla backup restore on new server in Holland, Hengelo City. This is still a ‘test phase’. Depending on CPU and resource usage this can be continued Y/N. Direct line with the new host/server in Holland to prevent us from actions like ’ suspension’. If monitoring shows us extreme usage and heavy performance, it is possible we have to take the Joomla site offline for good and switch to something very ‘light’.

RSS feeds all up again
Season 2-3-4-5-6-7 and 8 are all up again and working properly!
Artwork/Cover Art for Season 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 edited: now 1400x1400 .jpg to meet the new iTunes cover requirements / showing the podcast up in the Store Front.
Fresh Air! Lounge Series RSS feed is up again and working properly!

Phase 2: NS arrived
Name servers arrived at destination. Spacmusic.nl is back in Holland. We enjoyed the trip ; the capsule was fast!
• RSS feeds being copied + enclosures being copied
• Testing the Podcast feeds / iTunes Store
• New iTunes standards: higher resolution illustrations necessary.

Site and Feeds offline
The Spacemusic site will be offline soon. Also the podcast feeds for Season 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 will be offline.
Feeds will be up again in app. 4-6 hours from now.

Phase 1 has been initiated: the flight back to Holland.
The next hours spacemusic.nl will disappear from the radar.

Season 2-3-4-5 feed/enclosures
The feed for Season 2-3-4-5 has now been updated; enclosures have been moved; feed adjusted to match them. Season 2-3-4-5 should be working 100%.

Season 2-3-4-5 New Feed ping has been sent
Just a minute ago we’ve sent a ping to major podcast services; the RSS feed for Season 2-3-4-5 is now injected with a new URL:
http://spacemusic.nl/podcast/spacemusic/season2345/space2345.xml
iTunes will pick this one up soon; the feed will switch to the new URL fully automatic.
Will this mean you need to change subscription? Now, if all goes well you don’t have to do anything. New Spacemusic subscribers for Season 2-3-4-5 will automatically get subscribed to the correct feed.
Note: Season 2-3-4-5 is an archive; no new shows will be posted there.

Back to Black
Spacemusic site will go back to black upcoming weekend, starting March 16th 2013. Reason: maintenance.
Big move from the current host to the new one. Copy of the RSS content to the new server. Podcast RSS feeds need to be up again as fast as possible.
The site will follow later.

Change of Scenery
We got blocked earlier, no access to the account. We’re clear now. Site up and access to account again.
Plan:
1. Leaving the host. All data will be taken to a safe place next few days. Then we will move Spacemusic back to Holland. No more hosting across oceans and seas.
2. Save the RSS feeds, make sure they will be up again from the new server in Holland very soon.
3. Spacemusic Joomla site: to be shut down. Joomla no longer our no.1 choice. We’ve spent too many hours and dollars keeping it up and running. Luckily our visitors haven’t noticed a lot of crazy things we’ve experienced. Our social life is suffering from this. No good ;-)

4. Temp Spacemusic site: Just one page with links to podcast RSS feeds.
5. Estimated new Spacemusic site launch: later this year/summer 2013.
