Name servers arrived at destination. Spacmusic.nl is back in Holland. We enjoyed the trip ; the capsule was fast!

Site and Feeds offline
The Spacemusic site will be offline soon. Also the podcast feeds for Season 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 will be offline.

The feed for Season 2-3-4-5 has now been updated; enclosures have been moved; feed adjusted to match them. Season 2-3-4-5 should be working 100%.

Season 2-3-4-5 New Feed ping has been sent
Just a minute ago we’ve sent a ping to major podcast services; the RSS feed for Season 2-3-4-5 is now injected with a new URL:
http://spacemusic.nl/podcast/spacemusic/season2345/space2345.xml
iTunes will pick this one up soon; the feed will switch to the new URL fully automatic.

Spacemusic site will go back to black upcoming weekend, starting March 16th 2013. Reason: maintenance.
Big move from the current host to the new one. Copy of the RSS content to the new server. Podcast RSS feeds need to be up again as fast as possible.

Change of Scenery
We got blocked earlier, no access to the account. We’re clear now. Site up and access to account again. Plan: 1. Leaving the host. All data will be taken to a safe place next few days. Spacemusic site has been down now for at least 15 hours, the reason is excessive CPU/resource usage according to the hoster. We can’t acces the site, we can’t do anything. This is our 4th hoster in 8 years, so far every single one of them has resulted in the same issue.

Walk like an Egyptian
Being here in Egypt, have to say, not missing the news, TV and the channels of trends, hypes, hoaxes and all other stuff that blasts into your face daily.
One chat with a local was so very typical and self-explanatory about media in general; for instance about the ‘danger’ we see on the news, better not going to certain places, that stuff.

It was a good time here in Rome… Killing minutes now at the Fiumicino Aeroporto. Which i never like. I hear dutch around me, fellow citizens going back to Holland. Don’t look at me! I’m not here. Flight in less than an hour. Music on the headphones will be the best…..

New host, down again
This morning I found out that our new host has suspended the account AGAIN. Their suggestion is about the older site, the Wordpress site, causing way too much performance. We had no idea.
So I guess it’s bye bye Wordpress archives. Spacemusic.nl will not show you this site anymore.
First we’ll have to get the account up again. Till then, fingers crossed. ~TC

admin info: access denied error #1044 SQL import

I solved it by opening the .sql file produced by the phpMyAdmin export (I opened it in ext editor), and then I commented out the three lines near the top that referenced my database. Transfer complete!
Looks like all is working fine now. All data is at the right place, all scripts re-programmed, errors taken care of. The worst part was setting back the Season 6 site (Wordpress) as this was in PHP 4 and the server is much more up to date in PHP 5.3.10. That was causing a lot of ‘deprecated’ errors. Say again? Akeeba Backup?
An error occured. No details. Nice script Mr. Akeeba! The other day my uncle told me he deleted Akeeba from his system. Now I understand why… it’s nice when it works but when it doesn’t… rip the hairs out of the head kind of mood. So, back to manual mode. Folder by folder, file by file.

Good Morning!
Full sunshine in Rotterdam,…. rise and shine! Archives are uploading, Season 2-6 is now going over the pipe, followed by Season 7. Adding databases, configuring couple of scripts, the new cPanel works great here. Today’s ‘Hemelvaartdag’ / Ascension Day is a perfect day for doing such things, don’t you agree ? ;-)

DNS syncing overnight
Within the next few hours the Spacemusic.nl site will go ‘down’ again. This time on purpose. Spacemusic.nl needs to sync with new DNS settings and the new server. We do this overnight (CET) and hope to get all back to normal tomorrow.
This will have no consequences for the Spacemusic Season 7 podcast feed. The shows will be available all the time. What will be offline: Spacemusic.nl...

Season 2-5 is moving!
At this moment you’ll find that the RSS feed for the Spacemusic podcast Season 2-5 is not available. Correct! We’re moving all files and data to the new server. Within couple of hours things should get back to normal conditions, regarding this feed.
Planned next: the actual Spacemusic.nl website will be moving to the new server as well. This will take a bit longer to execute. Fingers...

Sites OFFLINE
Yesterday I found out that all of the sites being hosted @ Servage hosting were down… I also got an e-mail by Servage.
